The 380mAh battery is the number to think about. It is small by pod-kit standards and will not last a heavy day on one charge, but the device is light and short enough to disappear into a shirt pocket, which is the whole point of the format. If you want a device that goes two days between charges, a larger refillable kit is the better answer; if you want something that vanishes when you are not using it, this is the trade you are making.

Pods seat magnetically and a pair of internal prongs opens a seal inside the pod as it goes in, which is what starts the wick saturating. Give a new pod thirty seconds to a minute before the first draw. One practical detail worth knowing: the rubber stoppers must be removed from a Myle V5 pod before it is inserted. The device is compatible only with Myle V5 pods, so it will not accept cartridges from earlier Myle generations or other brands.
