White Note's Lemon Tobacco pairs oriental tobacco with lemon peel and a vanilla finish. The tobacco flavour is naturally extracted from real tobacco leaves rather than built from artificial flavourings, which is the defining feature of the range and the reason it tastes of leaf rather than of sweetened smoke. Oriental tobacco is the sun-cured, small-leaved, highly aromatic type, so the base is perfumed rather than heavy.

The lemon is specified as the Amalfi variety, a large, thick-skinned, intensely fragrant lemon whose peel carries far more aromatic oil than a standard one. That matters here because it is the peel rather than the juice doing the work: the citrus arrives as perfume alongside the tobacco rather than as sourness against it, and the vanilla rounds off the exhale. It is an unusual combination and worth approaching as such; if you expect a lemonade you will be surprised, and if you expect a plain tobacco you will find it brighter than any. The liquid is made in small batches in an ISO 7 certified facility and is free of alcohol, sucralose and diacetyl.
