Justfog MINIFIT S Pod System Kit

The MINIFIT S is JustFog's revision of the original MINIFIT, and it corrects the two things people complained about most. The internal battery rises to 420mAh with a 12W constant output, charging moves to Type-C at DC 5V rather than micro-USB, and the cartridge grows to 1.9ml with a 0.8ohm coil. The body is polycarbonate and anodised aluminium with a matte finish.

The resistance change is the one that alters how the device feels. Dropping from the original's 1.6ohm to 0.8ohm gives a warmer, wetter draw with noticeably more vapour, which suits lower-strength nicotine salts better than the very high ones; if you are used to 50mg in the original MINIFIT you will probably want to step down. The battery indicator is a simple three-colour LED rather than a percentage: red below 30%, blue between 30 and 65%, white above 65%, which is enough to tell you whether to charge before leaving the house. Type-C matters more in daily use than the extra 50mAh does, since it means the same cable as a modern phone. Protection covers short circuit, overheating, over-discharge, overcharge and overvoltage. The pod fills from the bottom, which is tidier than it sounds but does mean removing it from the battery to refill.
