Ehpro Armor COD 21700 Semi-Mech MOD

The Ehpro Armor COD is a semi-mechanical tube mod: it looks and handles like a mech, with a bottom twisted battery cover and a stainless steel body, but a chipset sits behind the fire button providing battery protections and a small display that shows voltage. That combination is the point of the device. You get the directness and simplicity of a mech without running an unregulated circuit blind.

It takes a single 21700, 20700 or 18650 cell, the last of these using the adapter supplied in the box, and no battery is included. Output tracks the cell between 2.7V and 4.2V, so power falls gradually as the battery drains in the way a mech does, rather than holding steady like a regulated mod. The stated minimum resistance is 0.1ohm, but Ehpro's own recommendation is to stay above 0.15ohm, and that is sound advice: at a true 0.1ohm on a fresh cell the current draw is very high and leaves no margin for a build that measures lower than you think. The SUS303 stainless construction and 26 x 91mm footprint make it a solid, unadorned device rather than a light one. Suitable for experienced users who understand battery safety and Ohm's law, not as a first device.
