Dicodes Dani Extreme V3 MOD

The Dani Extreme V3 is a regulated tube mod precision machined in Germany by Dicodes, and it exists for people who want the plain lines of a mechanical tube with a chipset and its protections behind them. It runs 5 to 60 watts, carries an OLED screen with adjustable brightness, and drives the whole menu from a single scrolling button. The 510 connection is spring loaded, so an atomiser sits flush against the top cap instead of leaving a gap.

Five modes cover variable wattage, wattage with heat protection, wattage with power boost, temperature control and a bypass mode that turns the device into a protected but unregulated mod. The menu is the thing to know about before buying: one button carrying that many functions means a genuine learning curve, and the short guide packed in the tin is worth reading properly rather than skimming. The other practical point is wire. Temperature control needs a coil in NiFe, Ni200 or titanium, and the settings are optimised for Dicodes own RESISTHERM wire; a Kanthal A1 or nichrome build will fire perfectly well in wattage mode but will not give you temperature limiting at all. Size follows battery: the 22mm body is made in lengths for 18350, 18500 and 18650 cells, the 23mm body for 18650. No tank or atomiser is included, and the electronics carry a two-year warranty.
