JUICE ROLL UPZ - APPLE ICE

Apple Ice is the menthol version of Juice Roll Upz's green apple. The apple itself is unchanged — crisp and tart at the front with the candied, slightly chewy sweetness of a rolled fruit strip behind it — and a cooling finish has been added on the exhale.

The menthol here is a finish rather than a full ice blend, which matters more with apple than with most fruits. Green apple is already sharp, and a heavy menthol on top of it tends to read as medicinal; keeping the cooling light lets the tartness stay fruit-like. In practice it means the liquid works in heat without losing the apple, which is the usual trade-off with iced fruit juices in this climate.

At 70% VG it is a high-VG liquid intended for sub-ohm tanks and direct-lung devices rather than pods — the ratio produces plenty of vapour but is too thick to wick reliably through the small feed holes of a pod coil. It is supplied at 3mg, the strength that makes sense at the wattage a liquid like this is built for. If you already vape the plain Apple in the same line and find it a little flat by the afternoon, this is the version worth switching to; if you dislike menthol in any form, stay with the original.
