C3 Reserve Saltnic

This is the nicotine salt version of C3 Reserve, the caramel, custard and cigar tobacco blend that HM Vapes also sell as a 60ml freebase bottle. The recipe is the same: a dark, dry cigar tobacco given roughly equal weight with caramel and custard rather than a tobacco with a faint sweet edge tacked on the end. The cigar note is what keeps the bottle from reading as a dessert.

Moving a tobacco-and-custard profile into a pod changes the experience more than it would with a fruit flavour. A mouth-to-lung pod runs at low power with a tight draw, and that actually suits tobacco: the flavour is more concentrated and less diffuse than it is at sub-ohm wattage, and the cigar note in particular comes through more clearly than it does in a large cloud. Two strengths are listed, 3.0% and 5.0%, equivalent to roughly 30mg and 50mg per ml. Take 5.0% for a tight pod and a recent switch from cigarettes, and 3.0% for steadier use through the day. Custard and caramel are demanding on small pod coils, so expect to replace them more often than you would on a plain tobacco liquid.
