It is a layered dessert blend rather than a single-note one, and the roasted nut is what separates it from the many cereal-and-milk juices on the shelf. That toasted, faintly savoury backbone is what stops the honey and banana from turning cloying halfway down the tank.

The 30% PG / 70% VG base is a sensible middle ground.
