Virginia is the most approachable tobacco in Black Note's range and the one most people should start with. The leaf is naturally sweet with the aroma of caramelised sugar, a character that comes from flue-curing rather than from any added flavouring, and the taste is mellow and mildly sweet rather than smoky or bitter. Virginia leaves run from lemon yellow through orange to mahogany depending on where they sat on the stalk, and the blend reflects that lighter end of the tobacco spectrum.

If you are moving from cigarettes, this is the closest thing in the range to a familiar starting point, because Virginia is one of the three tobaccos used in most blended cigarettes. It is offered as a 60ml bottle at 6mg or 12mg with a 50/50 VG/PG ratio. Those strengths are higher than the rest of the Black Note line and are aimed at mouth-to-lung devices with tighter airflow; 12mg in particular would be uncomfortable in a sub-ohm tank. Start at 6mg unless you were a heavy smoker.
