Kentucky is the most forceful of Black Note's tobacco extractions. The leaf is earthy and nutty on its own, and fire-curing pushes it further by releasing the plant's natural resins, which is where the robust, intense character comes from. Kentucky is an American cultivar, but the Italian Kentucky used here is grown in Tuscany, with a history in the region going back to the tobacco trade of the Republic of Cospaia in the sixteenth century.

Fire-curing is the detail that decides whether this one is for you. It is what gives the liquid its smoky weight, and it puts this blend closer to the Latakia and Cigarette blends than to the mellow Cavendish or Burley. It suits a vaper who wants a tobacco with real presence and finds most tobacco e-liquids too thin or too sweetened. It is a 30ml bottle at 3mg with a 50/50 VG/PG ratio.
