The two items that earn their place fastest are the ceramic tweezers and the coil jig. Ceramic tips let you pinch and strum a coil while the deck is powered without shorting it against the posts, which is how you chase out a hot leg and get an even glow from the centre outwards. The jig's six heads cover the usual inner diameters, so you can wrap consistent coils by hand instead of estimating by eye and ending up with a different resistance every build. If you already own a couple of these pieces separately, the kit is still a sensible way to keep a rebuild station together rather than scattered through a drawer.
