Organic cotton matters more than it sounds. It carries no rayon or bleach residue, so a new coil tastes clean from the first puff rather than needing several tankfuls to break in, and it wicks quickly enough to keep up with the Cleito's wide chimney. In practice the thing that shortens coil life is not wattage so much as sweetener: a dark, heavily sweetened dessert or candy liquid will caramelise on the wire and dull the flavour within days, while a clean fruit or tobacco liquid will often run two to three weeks on the same head. Prime a new coil by wetting the exposed cotton ports, fill the tank, and leave it standing for five minutes before the first draw.
