GT CORES MESH FOR NRG TANKS

These are GT Mesh replacement coils for Vaporesso NRG tanks, supplied three to a pack at 0.18 ohms with a recommended range of 50 to 90W. Mesh differs from a conventional wound coil in that it presents a continuous sheet of metal to the wick rather than a spiral of wire, so the whole surface reaches temperature at once. In use that means a faster ramp-up, a more even heat and less of the hot-spot flavour you get when a wound coil ages unevenly.

The wide 50 to 90W window is the practical advantage here. At the lower end the draw is cooler and the coil will last longer; towards 90W the vapour is denser and the flavour more intense, at the cost of getting through liquid and cotton considerably faster. Because mesh wicks quickly, these suit high-VG liquids and a direct-lung draw rather than thin, high-PG juice. Prime the cotton and let a new coil stand filled for a few minutes before firing, as mesh dry-burns easily if you rush the first draws.
