Ijoy MYSTIQUE Mish tank

The IJOY Mystique is a mesh tank sold three to a pack, and it sits in an unusual middle ground: the coil is built in and cannot be replaced, but the tank itself can be refilled as often as you like. When the mesh finally goes, you fit a fresh tank rather than a fresh coil. IJOY's own guidance is that each one lasts around two weeks of use.

The appeal is cost. A conventional sub-ohm tank costs several times more than a pack of coils, and here you are effectively buying an atomiser for close to coil money. The trade-off is that you cannot rebuild or clean your way out of a tired coil, and you have no choice of resistance — every tank in the pack is 0.15ohm.

That resistance sets the operating range. IJOY specify 40-70W, and the flavour is at its best towards the middle of that band; pushed to the top of the range the mesh will run hot and shorten the tank's life noticeably. It takes 3ml of e-liquid through a top-fill opening, has fully adjustable dual airflow with wide slots to reduce leakage, and uses a standard 510 thread so it will fit almost any mod. It is made from food-grade plastic rather than glass, which is why it is light for its size at 24 x 44.7mm.
