A refillable pod kit from Uwell built around a 950mAh battery and a 2ml top-filling pod, aimed squarely at mouth-to-lung vaping. It is draw-activated, so there is no fire button to hold; the metal body, adjustable airflow wheel on the base of the cartridge and large liquid window make it a straightforward device to live with.

The battery is the reason to choose this over a smaller pod. At 950mAh and a maximum output of 18W it will usually see out a full day of moderate mouth-to-lung use on one charge, and 2A charging means topping it up is quick when it does run down. That combination — modest power draw, generous cell — is what separates an all-day pod from one you find yourself charging at lunchtime. It takes Caliburn G series coils, including a 0.8ohm and a 1.2ohm mesh head, and is compatible with the Caliburn G2 empty cartridge, so replacements are easy to source. Protection circuitry covers short circuit, over-current, over-charge, over-discharge and over-time firing. Vibration and light indicators confirm each draw. At 61.5g it is heavier than a plastic pod, which some people prefer and others do not — worth knowing before you commit.
