Geekvape AQ Pod System Kit 1000mAh

The Geekvape AQ is a pod kit with a 1000mAh internal battery and an output range of 5–20W, aimed at both mouth-to-lung and restricted direct-lung vaping. It uses a top-filling 2ml cartridge with a 0.8Ω coil, and can be fired either by drawing on it or by pressing the button.

The battery is what sets this apart from the rest of its class. Most pods in this size and price bracket run 650–800mAh; 1000mAh here means a noticeably longer day between charges, and it is the practical reason to choose the AQ over a smaller device if you are away from a charger for long stretches. Output is adjustable in three steps rather than by the watt, indicated by the LED colour — red at 3.1V, blue at 3.4V, green at 3.7V — and the same light doubles as a battery gauge, red below 30 per cent, blue between 30 and 70, green above. That is a sensible compromise for a device with no screen. Airflow is adjustable too, which is what lets the single 0.8Ω coil cover both draw styles: closed down it gives a tight cigarette-like MTL pull, opened up it becomes a looser restricted direct lung. The kit is rated as tri-proof and carries the usual protections — over-puff cut-off at ten seconds, short-circuit and low-battery shutdown — and charges over USB-C.
