LAAN LITE STARTER KIT

The Laan Lite is a small refillable pod kit from Shanlaan, built around a 320mAh internal battery running at 7.4W into a 1.4ml pod with a 1.3Ω ceramic coil. It is a starter device in the true sense: there are no settings, no buttons and no coil building, and the low wattage means it is intended for nicotine salt liquid rather than the 70% VG bottles sold for sub-ohm tanks.

The ceramic coil is the part worth understanding. Ceramic tends to give a cleaner, slightly softer flavour than cotton-wicked coils and handles being run dry a little better, but it also takes longer to saturate when a pod is first filled, so leave a newly filled pod standing for a few minutes before the first draw. A 320mAh battery is small, so expect to charge it during the day if you vape regularly; that is the usual trade-off for a device this pocketable. The kit contains the device, one empty pod and a USB cable, and pods are sold separately in packs of four.
