Capacities run from compact bars up to long-running devices: the IGET Bar Pro at 10,000 puffs, the HQD Cuvie Slick Pro at 15,000, the My Shisha XL at 16,500 and the Artery CL6 at 50,000. Nicotine is printed on the pack, usually as 2% or 5%, with a few lines listed in milligrams instead.

How to choose

Puff count tells you how long a device lasts, not how strong it is; strength is the separate percentage figure. A 10,000-puff device typically lasts two or three times longer than a 3,000-puff bar, and the cost per puff falls as the rating rises. The second thing worth checking is whether the device recharges. Above roughly 8,000 puffs the battery would run flat long before the liquid is used, so those models carry a USB-C port, and a device without one will rarely reach its rated figure. Between two devices with the same puff count, the one with a charge port or a battery screen is the more reliable pick.
