SmokTech RPM40 Kit

The Smok RPM40 is a pod kit built to mod specifications: a 1500 mAh internal battery, a 1 W to 40 W adjustable power range and a resistance range of 0.2 to 2.5 ohm, in a body only 25 mm square and 99 mm tall. It is the device to look at if you want pod convenience but find most pods too weak and too restrictive.

The genuinely useful part is that the kit ships with two different pods. One takes the RPM coil series and holds 4.3 ml with the RPM Mesh 0.4 ohm coil fitted; the other takes Nord coils and holds 4.5 ml with the Nord DC 0.6 ohm coil fitted. They are told apart by the colour of the rubber plug, red or black, and by the RPM or NORD text printed on it. That means one device covers restricted direct-lung vaping on the mesh coil and tighter mouth-to-lung vaping on the Nord coil, with a large tank either way. The IQ-R chip fires in 0.001 seconds and the device carries short-circuit, low-voltage, high-temperature and eight-second cut-off protections.
