Air enters from adjustable top-side slots and travels diagonally down onto the coils, rather than up through the base as on a bottom-airflow RDA. Two things follow from that: flavour is concentrated because the air hits the coil directly, and the deck cannot leak downwards through the airflow, which is the usual failing of bottom-airflow decks. A knurled ring makes the adjustment easy to do by feel while the deck is hot. Post screws clamp onto the flat of the coil lead instead of biting into it, so a build survives being retightened.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA gold-plated positive post improves conductivity, and a gold-plated bottom feed pin is supplied for squonking on a bottom-feed mod.
