Cthulhu Hastur Mini MTL RTA 2ml

The Hastur Mini is Cthulhu Mod's compact take on their mouth-to-lung RTA. It is a 22mm, single-coil rebuildable tank in 304 stainless steel holding 2ml, with a two-post build deck and a restricted airflow path designed specifically for a tight, cigarette-like draw rather than for cloud production.

The airflow arrangement is the reason to choose it. A triple-slotted control ring at the base offers outer holes of 0.8mm, 1.2mm and 1.4mm, and that air is then fed to a pair of small holes directly beneath the coil. Feeding restricted air straight at the coil in a small chamber is what produces the dense, concentrated flavour that MTL builders are after — a large-chamber sub-ohm tank dilutes it. For anyone wanting the draw tighter still, a single-exit deck airflow insert can be bought separately and swapped in. The threadless top fill is a practical touch: it avoids the pressure build-up that causes threaded caps to weep, which is a common failing on small MTL tanks.

Bear in mind what this is not. At 2ml it needs refilling often, and a single-coil MTL deck asks for a fair bit more patience to build and wick than a stock coil tank does. If you are new to rebuildables, budget some time for it. Two elongated 510 drip tips are supplied, one steel and one delrin, along with a frosted replacement glass and a spares bag.
