Bomb Pomegranate Raspberry Eliquid

Pomegranate and raspberry without menthol, in a 60ml bottle at 3mg. This is the uncooled counterpart to Bomb’s iced version of the same two fruits.

Taking the menthol out changes the balance in a way that is easy to underestimate. In the iced blend the cold arrives first and the pomegranate’s dry finish is read as refreshing; here the tannic edge is exposed, and it is the first thing you notice rather than the last. Some people find that more interesting, others find it austere. The raspberry does more work as a result, supplying the sweetness the menthol was previously masking. It is the better of the two for cooler weather and for anyone who dislikes cooling agents, and it holds up well at moderate wattage in a sub-ohm tank. At high power the pomegranate turns harsh, so there is little to gain from pushing it.

Both the iced and uniced versions of this blend are supplied in 60ml at 3mg, so the only variable between them is the menthol. That makes them an unusually clean pair to compare if you have never worked out whether you actually prefer cooled liquids or simply default to them out of habit.
