Aspire Breeze 2 U-Tech Replacement Coils

These are Aspire's U-Tech replacement coil heads for the Breeze Pocket AIO kit and the Breeze 2. They are rated at 1 ohm and built around a Kanthal heating element wrapped in organic cotton inside a stainless steel housing, which is the standard construction for a mouth-to-lung coil of this resistance.

The U in U-Tech describes the airflow path rather than the coil shape. Air enters from the top of the head, travels down through the vertical spacing around the coil, then passes back up through a second slot, forming a U. The practical effect of routing air this way in a small device is that the vapour spends longer in contact with the coil before it reaches you, which is why these heads give more flavour than their size suggests. At 1 ohm the draw is tight and the power draw modest, so they suit nicotine salts and higher-strength freebase liquid rather than very low-strength juice. One important compatibility note: despite sharing the U-Tech name, these are not interchangeable with Nautilus X U-Tech coils, so check what your device takes before ordering. As with any new coil, prime the cotton with a few drops of liquid and let the head stand filled for several minutes before the first draw.
