Airscream - AirsPops Starter Pod Kit

The starter kit is the entry point to the Airscream AirsPops system: the battery, one cartridge and a magnetic charger in a single box. The pods are prefilled and clipped in place, so there is nothing to fill, wick or clean, and the device is ready to use out of the packet.

The ceramic coil is the detail that distinguishes it from most pod systems in this class, which use cotton wicking. Ceramic is slower to saturate but far less prone to the burnt taste that follows a hard pull on a dry cotton wick, and it holds the same flavour character across the whole pod rather than shifting as it ages. Paired with a 1.2ohm resistance and a modest 280mAh battery, the draw is tight and cool, which is what suits the high-strength salt liquid the AirsPops pods are filled with. The trade-off is battery life: 280mAh is small, so expect to charge daily, which the magnetic connector makes quick. Short-circuit protection is built in. The kit includes one cartridge to get started; pods are sold separately in packs of four.
