That is the practical argument for buying into the range, because changing device within it rarely means throwing away the coils you have left.

Choosing the right head is a matter of matching resistance to draw style and to the wattage your device can actually deliver. The low-resistance mesh coils at 0.15 and 0.2 ohm are direct-lung heads for the higher-powered kits and want 60 to 80 watts to work properly; on a small pod they will taste weak and wick badly. The middle of the range, 0.3 to 0.6 ohm, covers restricted and direct-lung vaping between roughly 20 and 40 watts, and it is where most people settle. The 1.0 and 1.2 ohm heads, including the C1 ceramic, are mouth-to-lung coils for 10 to 15 watts and are the ones to pair with high-strength nicotine salts. Running a low-resistance coil on high-strength salt is the most common mistake in this range and it makes for a genuinely unpleasant vape rather than simply a wasteful one.
