The Wenax M1 is a draw-activated pod kit with an 800mAh battery in an anodised aluminium body weighing 34g. Airflow is tight, which makes it a mouth-to-lung device, and the 2ml pod has a silicone-coated mouthpiece. Adaptive power circuitry holds output steady between 12W and 16W almost until the battery is flat.

The coils are not replaceable: when a pod is finished you fit a new one rather than changing a head, which makes this simpler to live with but more expensive per millilitre over time. Pods are available in 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm. Worth knowing before ordering: the kit contains a single pod and no USB-C cable, so if you do not have one to hand, add one. It suits a first device or a step up from disposables. Running costs are the thing to weigh up. A pod is a coil and a tank in one, so you pay a little more per refill than with a device that takes replaceable heads, in return for never having to handle a coil at all.
