510 Adapter Aegis Boost Pod Kit

This is the 510 thread adapter for the Geekvape Aegis Boost. It screws into the pod bay in place of the cartridge and converts the kit into a conventional 40W box mod, so any 510-threaded tank or atomiser can be fitted to it. One adapter is supplied.

Whether this is worth buying depends entirely on what you already own. The Aegis Boost is a capable device hemmed in by its proprietary pods: the chipset and battery are perfectly good, but you are limited to the coils Geekvape makes for it. The adapter removes that limit, which means an existing MTL tank, an RTA or a rebuildable you already have can run off the Boost's battery and its wattage control rather than sitting unused. That is the practical case for it — it is a way to get more out of hardware you have already bought rather than an upgrade in its own right. Two things are worth noting before ordering. The output is capped at the Boost's own 40W, so a large sub-ohm tank designed for higher power will work but will not perform at its best. And the adapter adds height, so a tall tank will make the combination noticeably top-heavy on what is otherwise a compact device.
