SMOK NORD COILS (5 Coils)

Replacement coils for the SMOK Nord series, sold five to a pack. The Nord has been around long enough that most people either own one or have borrowed one, and the coil you fit into it decides almost everything about how the device behaves. A Nord running a 1.4ohm head and a Nord running a 0.6ohm mesh head are, in practice, two quite different vapes sharing the same shell.

The higher-resistance 1.4ohm heads are built for mouth-to-lung vaping: a tight draw, a firmer throat hit and modest vapour. That is what most people moving across from cigarettes are after, and it is the right pairing for nicotine salts. The 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm mesh heads open the draw up, wick faster and push considerably more vapour, so they suit lower-strength freebase liquid and higher-VG blends. The ceramic 1.4ohm option sits between the two in character, generally giving a cleaner and slightly drier flavour that tobacco and dessert vapers tend to prefer. Whichever you choose, prime the cotton with a few drops through the wicking ports and let the pod stand for five minutes before the first draw. Dry-firing a fresh Nord coil is the single most common reason one tastes burnt on the first day.

Because the pack contains five, it is worth keeping one spare strength in the box rather than five of the same. Switching between a 1.4ohm and a mesh head is the cheapest way to change how a Nord vapes without buying another device.
